DANIEL LOEFFLER
Deputy Secretary-General at Departement of economic development at State of Geneva
Daniel Loeffler is the Deputy Secretary General in charge of economic affairs for the Department of Economic Development of the Canton of Geneva. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Fribourg. Prior to his current position, he managed the Economic Development Office of the canton for 8 years. In his capacity as director, Daniel was in charge of implementing the canton’s economic development strategy, built around the support of innovation, the development of clusters and international markets. Earlier in his career, he was a business consultant in financing and project management. In the past, Daniel had also worked in the fields of fund raising and systems implementation control for SMEs at the CCSO in Geneva.
