Loïc Schmid started his financial career in 2001 with Lombard Odier. In 2006, he joined Bank Bénédict Hentsch as a Senior Portfolio Manager. He will play an important role in the development of the young bank, including the creation of centralized discretionary management, conception and management of funds, proprietary treading and market strategist. Entrepreneur at heart, in 2012 he left the bank to co-found the Swiss financial media investir.ch which quickly became a reference website in Switzerland. He also cofounded the group of economists “Les Econoclastes”. In 2014, he was hired as Head of Portfolio Management at Sequoia Asset Management. In 2015, he was appointed CIO and a Head of Asset Management at GS BANQUE SA.
In August 2017, he left the Bank to join 1875 FINANCE as CIO.
